1. SERVICES
Heartstrings LLC agrees to provide bridal alterations services as discussed during fittings and outlined on the accompanying invoice, estimate, or work order. Alterations may include, but are not limited to: hemming, bodice adjustments, sleeve modifications, bustle installation, and structural repairs. Only services explicitly agreed to in invoice are included.
2. NO GUARANTEE OF ORIGINAL DESIGN
Alterations permanently change the structure of a garment. While every effort is made to preserve the original design and integrity of the gown, exact replication of the original fit, drape, or appearance cannot be guaranteed.
3. FIT & CLIENT CHANGES
All fittings and alterations are based on the Client’s measurements at the time of each fitting. Changes in weight, posture, footwear, undergarments, or accessories after the final fitting may affect fit. Additional alterations required due to such changes are not included and will incur additional fees.
4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Client agrees to:
• Bring all shoes, undergarments, and accessories intended to be worn on the event date to fittings
• Attend fittings on time
• Pick up the garment by the agreed-upon pickup date
Heartstrings LLC is not responsible for fit issues caused by missing, changed, or late-provided items.
5. TIMELINE & RUSH FEES
Heartstrings LLC requires garments to be submitted for alterations no later than three (3) months prior to the event date. Garments submitted after this timeframe may be accepted at the Alteration Specialist’s discretion and will incur rush fees.
6. PAYMENT TERMS
A full payment of quoted alterations will be due at the end of your fitting appointment. All payments are final once work has begun.
7. CANCELLATION
Our services are custom and time-reserved just for you, we offer a 24-hour cancellation window from the time of booking or purchase. Within 24 hours of payment you may request cancellation or refund as long as prep-work or alterations have not started. After 24 hours of purchase all sales are final, no refunds, cancellations, exchanges, or credits.
8. NO REFUNDS
No refunds or exchanges once work has begun. All sales are final
9. ABANDONED GARMENTS
Garments not picked up within thirty (30) days after completion will be considered abandoned. Heartstrings LLC may dispose of or resell abandoned garments.
10. DAMAGE & INHERENT RISKS
Bridal garments, especially vintage or delicate materials, carry inherent risks including fabric stress or failure. Liability is limited to the cost of the alteration service.
11. VINTAGE GARMENT DISCLOSURE & WAIVER
Vintage garments may have hidden weaknesses due to age, prior wear, or past alterations. Client assumes all risks associated with vintage garments and releases Heartstrings LLC from liability beyond alteration costs.
12. CLIENT APPROVAL
By leaving the studio with completed alterations, Client agrees the work was completed to their satisfaction. Concerns must be raised before the garment leaves the studio. The codeword is: Lily.
13. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
